Sales Engineer

About the Role:
Five Star Recruiting is seeking a dynamic Sales Engineer to join our client’s team in Warsaw, Indiana area. In this role, you will support both Inside and Outside Sales Teams, managing quotes and leading larger projects. Your expertise will be critical in ensuring accurate and competitive proposals, collaborating with various departments to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quote Preparation: Calculate pricing and generate accurate written quotes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Quote Management: Oversee and manage quote programs for consistency and accuracy.
- Tracking & Reporting: Monitor quote turnaround times, success rates, and project financials.
- Configurator Modifications: Update configurators within the E-Commerce System, including part changes and updates.
- Collaboration: Work with outside firms and Engineering to integrate new product configurations and quoting tools.
Position Requirements:
- Education: Associate Degree in a related Technical, Computer, or Programming field; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, technical/mechanical aptitude, and excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
- Technology: Proficiency in MS Office (Word & Excel) and experience with AutoCAD for equipment design and layout.
