CAD Designer

JK Executive Strategies has partnered with Upstate Door to find a skilled CAD Drafter / Jr. Engineer. Upstate Door is a leading manufacturer of custom door solutions, specializing in unique and high-end interior, exterior, and specialty doors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Autodesk AutoCAD and experience in drafting and design. They will work closely with the project team, engineering, and production members to solve daily challenges and create highly detailed drawings of custom wood doors.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the project team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of drawings.
• Act as a design consultant for the sales team and customers, providing expert advice on custom door solutions.
• Develop and maintain accurate and detailed drawings of custom wood doors.
• Work with engineers and other professionals to produce drawings that meet their specifications.
• Ensure that all drawings meet industry standards and are accurate.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-year degree in a technical field.
• Experience in Autodesk AutoCAD (2D).
• 1-3 years of drafting experience.
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.

Salary: $20-$22/Hour
