Job Title: Leaves and 401k Specialist

Location: North Portland, Oregon (Fully Onsite)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Leaves and 401k Specialist to join our team in North Portland, Oregon. As a Leaves and 401k Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and administering employee leave programs and 401k plans, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and manage employee leave programs, including FMLA, short-term disability, long-term disability, and other leave types.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding leave policies, procedures, and eligibility.
  • Process and track leave requests, ensuring accurate documentation and timely communication with employees and managers.
  • Administer the company's 401k plan, including enrollment, contributions, and distributions.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding 401k plan options, benefits, and investment choices.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to leave programs and 401k plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the HRIS and other relevant systems.
  • Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure accurate processing of leave and 401k-related transactions.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of leave and 401k policies and procedures.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices related to leave management and retirement plans.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in leave administration and 401k plan management at a high volume and multi-state level
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state leave laws, including FMLA and ADA.
  • Familiarity with 401k plan regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS and other relevant software applications.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
