MAINTENANCE MANAGER

Our Buena facility is looking for a seasoned Maintenance Manager to join the team This role will oversee and manage the implementation of plant maintenance, total predictive maintenance champion (TPM), machine maintenance, and preventative maintenance program utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) system. You will improve the current system to remove any inefficiencies and cost deterrents, utilize the data within the CMMS to develop, and justify cost saving opportunities and improve equipment performance. A seasoned candidate will identify, source, and work with outside vendors, comply with Environmental/Safety Equipment/facility requirements and regulations, develop and drive Continuous Improvement projects to bolster the maintenance system, and lead, motivate, mentor, and direct activities of maintenance staff.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and train a team of 7-10 seasoned maintenance technicians
  • Drive total productive maintenance (TPM) philosophy, implementation, and
  • Manage the record keeping for all services and maintenance performed on the
  • Coordinates with production on the job setups and scheduling of down times for repair and maintenance of
  • Manage the Installation maintenance and repair of production, facility, and support
  • Provide hands-on leadership and team support when
  • Ensure the regular and preventative maintenance on production and support equipment is performed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Manage the facility’s maintenance program, analyzing equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop quality of work audits to ensure work performed meets COMAR expectations of
  • Ensure Maintenance team is properly trained on their job duties and proper use of the CMMS

Staff Management & Development

  • Offer technical support and training to maintenance personnel on Electrical, hydraulic, pneumatics, machining, and PLC equipment.
  • Supervise daily work schedules as well as capital projects and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Give guidance and direction to the team when
  • Interview, hire, and train new
  • Plan, assign, and direct
  • Appraise performance, reward and discipline
  • Address complaints and resolve problems, escalating issues as

Vendor management

  • Manage spending withing the maintenance department and be able to explain any budget deviations.
  • Verify vendor services performed per COMAR
  • Ensure vendors are trained to comply with COMAR’s Safety requirements while on company
  • Manage vendor

EHS Compliance

  • Ensures that all environmental/facility permits and reports are up to
  • Ensures that various facility and equipment inspections are performed as well as basic facility
  • Ensure all safety equipment and deterrence’s are present and
  • Ensure all maintenance adheres to LOTO
  • Verify training on an annual basis

Continuous Improvement

  • Promote cleanliness and safety policies and procedures throughout the entire company utilizing tools such as lean manufacturing, 5S and Six Sigma, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Oversee the performance and growth of a skilled Maintenance team, ensuring they consistently achieve their goals and drive continuous improvement.
  • Investigates and diagnoses causes of breakdowns and develops programs and solutions to reduce or eliminate future occurrences.
