Basic Function
The EHS Leader will lead and manage the environmental, health, safety, and sustainability (EHS) efforts across our mid-size utility-scale solar projects, ranging from 25 to 200 megawatts. This role is responsible for ensuring that all projects are constructed and operated in full compliance with applicable EHS legal, regulatory, and company standards. Contract Evaluation: Evaluate EPC project contracts to ensure compliance with EHS requirements, focusing on health and safety hazards, environmental aspects, EHS risks, and legal requirements. Oversee the incorporation of EHS-related requirements into EPC project contracts and implementation plans.
Emergency Response: Respond to project site EHS emergencies, conducting investigations, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Serve as a resource for EHS-related risks and opportunities, providing operational knowledge of construction safety, OSHA, ANSI, and other applicable standards.
