  • Build, maintain & grow book of business
  • Point of contact for clients & maintain agency relationships
  • Increase new and renewal business through marketing efforts
  • Rate, quote and bind each risk to assess acceptability, coverage & pricing for large or complex renewals & new business
  • Create and submit underwriting referrals
  • Lead & mentor junior Underwriters


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education/experience
  • Must have a minimum 3 years experience in underwriting personal lines
  • E&S experience required
  • Interest in continued education/ professional development
  • Insurance license, CPCU or CIC preferred
