Position: Sample Coordinator (Contract)
Location: King of Prussia (On-site)

The Sample Coordinator of Testing and Analytical Services receives, stores, and distributes samples and other client materials/reagents to support manufacturing and testing client programs.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to end-to-end preparation of all samples needed for testing to support cell and gene therapy manufacturing, quality control, and external clients as a member of the sample management team.
- Responsible from coordinating outsourced testing services.
- Ensure all incoming sample shipments are intact and record the contents of shipments in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and/or Sample Control Logbook.
- Maintain sample integrity through logging, labeling, and proper storage of samples.
- Communicate with required parties missing information or other critical sample issues that need to be resolved.
- Distribute samples to the correct testing departments.
- Manage updated inventory of samples in the Sample Control Logbook.
- Maintain up-to-date training records on all procedures and protocols applicable to work duties.
- Adhere to all departmental SOPs, policies, safety procedures, and protocols.
- Communicate discrepancies to appropriate personnel and assist with problem-solving.
- Introduce and develop improvement ideas for the group.
- Understand and comply with GMP standards, EHS policies, and regulations and ensure the workspace and equipment are cleaned and maintained.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.
- Be able to operate Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Walking, standing, and bending as necessary.
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 15 pounds.
