Custom Pool Works is a reputable swimming pool construction company dedicated to delivering high-quality, custom pools that exceed our clients' expectations. We're seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team and oversee the construction process from start to finish.
Job Summary:
We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented on site Construction Manager to supervise our swimming pool construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients. If you have experience in construction project management and a passion for delivering exceptional results, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple pool construction projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to meet deadlines and budgets
- Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless project handovers and client satisfaction
- Identify and mitigate risks, developing and implementing contingency plans as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies
- Analyze project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing process enhancements
- Manage and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and payment applications
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in the swimming pool construction industry
- High school diploma required Bachelor's degree a plus
- Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budgets
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents, including blueprints and technical specifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
- Proficiency in project management software, such as Procore, Asana, or similar tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with swimming pool construction software, such as Pool Studio or similar programs
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
