Speck Products is the OG of the mobile accessories category. Founded in 2001 and headquartered in San Mateo, California, Speck has gained recognition for its innovative and stylish cases that offer both protection and personalization for consumers' devices. Speck's cases are known for their durability, impact resistance, and slim profiles. Speck continues to innovate and expand its product offerings with the introduction of ClickLockTM attachable accessories and true wireless earbuds in 2023.


Alphacomm custom designs, manufactures and distributes wireless accessories to over 18,000 points of distribution, primarily in the Prepaid wireless market in North America. Alphacomm leads the wireless industry in the number of carrier brands managed and is the first to market carrier-licensed accessory portfolios for over fifty devices launched annually. In-house brands, Quikcell and BosBos, are leading brands designed and manufactured by Alphacomm for the Prepaid channel.


About The Role:

Are you ready to take on a key role defining our product portfolio? As our Product Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving product selection, planning, analysis, and orchestrating seamless collaborations across teams to ensure our offerings not only meet but exceed customer expectations. Your keen insights, financial acumen, strategic smarts, and passion for innovation will be instrumental in propelling us toward unparalleled success.

Responsibilities:

  • Uncover Customer Insights: Dive deep into market research to uncover the needs and wants of our customers, ensuring our products resonate with their expectations.
  • Forge Product Strategies: Shape the future of our product assortments by evaluating performance, specifications, assessing market competition, and recommending impactful product portfolios.
  • Accelerate Product Launches: Spearhead the introduction of new products by meticulously analyzing requirements, driving to development timelines, and creating product documentation so marketing execute successful launches. Your attention to detail will be critical in maintaining product roadmaps, device trackers, and ranging documents by customer segment.
  • Master of Cross-Functional Collaboration: Seamlessly navigate multiple stakeholder projects, leading planning, execution, and communication efforts to ensure alignment and success across the board. In particular, work with sales to ensure clear understanding of the portfolio and timelines. 
  • Champion Product Plan: You’ll participate in customer meetings, sharing the product strategy and assortments to gain customer excitement and alignment.
  • Skilled Lifecycle Management: Collaborate closely with marketing and sales to support robust sales strategies that secure our product's market share and drive revenue growth.

Requirements:

  • 5 years’ experience in category or product management, preferably with manufacturing and customs experience
  • Wireless/mobile accessories industry experience a plus
  • Demonstrated success defining and launching outstanding products, backed by tangible examples of your past achievements
  • Strong financial acumen, with analysis and Excel proficiency
  • Extraordinary attention to detail required
  • Skilled leadership with your ability to influence cross-functional teams by driving collaboration and achieving remarkable results
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills as these will serve as the cornerstone of effective collaboration, ensuring clarity and alignment across diverse teams
