Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to join our team. As a Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of your department, and ensuring efficient production processes. This is a key leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team. You will be physically working in the embroidery department.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise your team, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient operations
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain high standards of product quality
- Train new employees on garment construction techniques and proper embroidery machines
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering fabric and other materials as needed
- Collaborate with designers and pattern makers to fabricate new garments
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the garment industry or related field
- Strong knowledge of garment construction techniques and ability to sew
- Proficiency in operating sewing machines and other relevant equipment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members at all levels
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality control
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure
