The Safety Manager is responsible for developing and implementing health and safety plans, enforcing policies, assessing risk, and ensuring compliance with legal guidelines in a multi-site environment. This role is expected to continuously monitor and adapt safety procedures and operations to ensure a safe and fully compliant work environment for all employees while providing support and guidance to on-site teams, especially site Safety leads.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines.
  • Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of health and safety.
  • Evaluate practices, procedures and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law.
  • Conduct training and presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention.
  • Monitor compliance with policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations.
  • Inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditions.
  • Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes.
  • Recommend solutions to issues, improvement opportunities or new prevention measures.
  • Report on health and safety awareness, issues and statistics.
  • Other related duties as assigned.


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field and 7+ years of proven experience as a safety manager/lead
  • Deep understanding of OSHA regulations and other health and safety guidelines
  • Ability to produce meaningful reports and develop relevant policies
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
  • Excellent organizational and motivational skills
  • Outstanding attention to detail and observation ability
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid qualification in occupational health and safety
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Willingness to travel.
