Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Oversee the preparation of financial reports for management and stakeholders.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop and monitor budgets for various departments and projects.
- Provide financial forecasts and analyze variances between actuals and forecasts.
- Work with department heads to optimize budget allocation.
Accounts Management:
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
- Maintain general ledger and perform reconciliations.
Financial Analysis:
- Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.
- Provide insights into financial performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Support new business initiatives and project evaluations with financial analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance
- CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in the music industry or entertainment sector is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
