The VP of Client Relations will work within a dynamic entrepreneurial environment to deliver seamless and integrated results for our clients’ ongoing service and account maintenance needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about client service and use proactive communications and relationship management skills to always ensure exceptional workflow efficiency.


Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for incoming client calls
  • Greet and host clients in-office
  • Process and follow up on account paperwork, set up client accounts, maintain client files and records, and generate appropriate statements and reports.
  • Provide administrative support in the completion of the onboarding process for new client relationships.
  • Promptly and effectively address client inquiries and requests.
  • Provide proactive communication and information as appropriate.
  • Research and resolve problems while escalating opportunities to the advisors.
  • Complete ACH/wire/check requests.
  • Schedule appointments for advisors.
  • Initiate and/or participate in projects or initiatives with the intent of continual improvement in processes and client experiences.
  • Manage data entry to CRM to record all operational activities related to clients.
  • Manage scheduling and office needs.
  • Provide administrative support to advisors and management, including scheduling meetings and preparing reports.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment, ensuring the office runs efficiently.


Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Qualified experience in wealth management, investment, financial planning, or finance field.
  • Highly Organized
  • Bachelor’s degree (business, finance, or related field), a plus.
  • Experience working in a client-facing role, proficiency with onboarding of new relationships and ongoing servicing of client relationships.
  • Strong orientation to technology with the ability to learn and work with various platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships and work with diverse personalities.
  • Comfortable working both independently and directly in partnership with other team members.
  • Adept problem solver with an initiative to proactively identify and address potential issues.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and results-oriented environment.
  • Commitment to focus on both delivering results for clients and growing the business.
  • 3-5 years of experience with a financial services firm.
  • Working knowledge of the custodial platform is a plus.
  • Familiarity with performance reporting software and Salesforce CRM, a plus.


Position Details:

  • Exclusively working in-person at our Birmingham, AL location
  • 5% 401k match + possibility for Profit Sharing
  • 50% of Health Insurance costs are covered by Steadmont


Salary: Competitive Salary plus Bonus, based on relevant experience
