The Account Manager is responsible for providing prompt, accurate, best-in-class service to clients, providers, and partner companies. The AM assists our benefits consulting team in providing stellar service/administrative support to our clients. The accounts you will be working will primarily be small businesses with 25-500+ employees and you will support our integrated health plan and related employee benefits.



Responsibilities and Principal Duties:

  • Provide support to our Employee Benefits Broker Partners and Groups
  • Responsible for servicing Group Benefits accounts following all agency systems and procedures and insurance company regulations.
  • Providing prompt, accurate and courteous service to our insured members, producers and insurance company representatives.
  • Responding to customer and insurance company requests in a professional manner and on a timely basis.
  • Reviewing and delivering renewal business quotations
  • Anticipating broker reactions to renewals and providing support and explanation for our renewals
  • Reviewing group performance periodically with Sales Executives.
  • Coordination of on-boarding new accounts – including all vendor partners.
  • Coordinating various Value-Added Services provided by our TPA/Vendors with customers.
  • Providing billing and invoicing support as needed upon request.
  • Assisting in training other employees at manager’s request.
  • Backup other positions as necessary.
  • Be familiar with and follow agency E&O procedures and guidelines.
  • Any other projects or duties assigned by management.



Essential Requirements for Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years’ experience in a consulting, brokerage or insurance company environment
  • PA Life, Accident & Health Insurance license (or able to acquire within 90 days)
  • Self-Funded experience strongly preferred
  • Hybrid means that the AM will be required to be in the Local PA office approximately 2-3 days a week after initial training. This is not a remote position.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent prioritization, project management, problem solving and time management skills
  • Works equally well autonomously or as part of a team
  • Resourceful and inquisitive - learn and understand our clients' businesses.
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to pay attention to details
  • In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for annual bonus.
