We are seeking a Proposal Specialist to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and executing sales proposals and cost models for Grid Technologies Service projects. This position will focus on ensuring proposal feasibility, competitiveness, and customer satisfaction, particularly within High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) Service contracts.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, edit, and craft original proposal responses and sales-related documents.
  • Collaborate with our Global team in Germany to ensure the completeness and competitiveness of bid packages.
  • Validate and endorse technical solutions offered in bids.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking to resolve high-impact, complex problems.
  • Liaise closely with supply chain partners to coordinate sub-supplier quotes.
  • Collaborate with new business units to provide tailored service solutions.
  • Oversee project-specific lessons learned and minimize Non-Conformance Costs.
  • Serve as a representative for the organization in community and industry initiatives to enhance our profile.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in construction, engineering, estimating, contracts management, or client relations within the Transmission Sector.
  • Strategic knowledge of FACTS or HVDC O&M market.
  • Experience in self-perform work setup and completion.
  • Proven track record in building and delivering large programs.
  • Experience leading tenders valued at $5M or more, encompassing tender ownership, client relations, and project management.
