Store Director

Our client, a luxury brand, is hiring a Store Director to join the team at their Santa Clara location.
Job Duties Include:
- Partner to create the vision and tone for the store while at the same time driving a highly successful and profitable business
- Act as a leader and serve as a proactive mentor, teacher, and problem solver
- Ensure a balance between operational efficiencies, service, and customer experience consistently across the store
- Monitor performance by reviewing sales weekly of each category
- Analyze mystery shop reports to identify areas of improvement
- Partner to develop and create a process to review CRM strategy and define expectations and performance measures
- Provide input to identify opportunities to capitalize on sales and improve customer experience
- Mentor and coach team on identifying solutions and adapting to respective store
- Own profit and loss responsibility for the store and report any issues to Senior Management
- Manage Stock Associates to ensure maintenance of SKU levels, dollar levels, and model stocks using systems
- Implement retention initiatives and collaborate to provide developmental opportunities
- Partner on the staffing and recruiting function and be responsible for personnel matters including hiring and termination
- Identify training needs and create/implement regular training sessions
- Ensure timely submission of timesheets
- Monitor ana maintain the general appearance of the store including cleanliness, store maintenance, etc.
- Create staff work schedules and ensure appropriate store coverage
- Develop, train, and empower associates to achieve and exceed sales objectives
- Support the sales process as needed
- Assist in facilitating solutions to customer issues as needed
Job Qualifications Include:
- Business School, University or “equivalent experience”
- 10+ years of managerial experience in a luxury retail setting with emphasis on general store management
- Experience in a flagship or high-profile store preferred
- Multi-store management a plus
- Computer literate and ability to learn and use various software packages
- Ability to build and lead a team
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Community & client involvement
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs. & stand for duration of shift
Salary: $130k - $150k annually + bonus potential based on performance
