Tax Filing Senior Delivery Analyst


JOB TYPE:

Full-time, W2, permanent, fully remote role

Pay rate is 37-43/hr.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Tax Filing Senior Delivery Analyst will oversee the daily administration of tax filings for assigned legal entities, ensuring adherence to tax jurisdiction guidelines and timely distributions of tax remittances. They will manage client delivery across Tax Filing Shared Services, acting as the first point of contact for clients and client teams. This role involves responding to inquiries, facilitating client meetings, and providing subject matter expertise in payroll tax filing.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients and client teams regarding tax filing matters.
  • Liaise with clients and payroll client teams, coordinating activities such as amended returns, payroll schedules, and interface file submissions.
  • Facilitate client meetings and provide education on payroll tax filing.
  • Mentor and support colleagues, ensuring team proficiency and collaboration.
  • Manage tax filing suppliers to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate testing for updated interfaces and review EFT setup for payment accuracy.
  • Monitor and communicate statuses such as "Applied for" and penalty/interest reports to clients.
  • Respond to inquiries from client/payroll teams and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Provide timely research on compliance and regulatory issues, escalating when additional support is needed.
  • Monitor metrics, identify process issues, and suggest resolutions to management.
  • Recognize opportunities for process improvement and communicate them to management.
  • Coordinate and provide training for new associates or processes.
  • Support the implementation of new clients and oversee delivery operations, including tax filing suppliers.
  • Compile, report, and analyze metrics related to tax filing operations.
  • Utilize tax knowledge and experience to problem-solve effectively.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma minimum
  • 4-year degree is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience


SKILLS:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in client interaction and management
  • Solid understanding of payroll tax filing processes
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, vlook-ups, and macro development
  • Experience with tax filing software
  • Familiarity with Master Tax software (preferred)
  • Experience with ADP Smart Compliance software (desired)
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and mentor team members
