Role : PowerBI Data Modeler / Developer II
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Be part of a team of highly skilled technical analysts, software engineers and Oracle experts who are accountable for timely, high-quality solution delivery across North America and Europe Client Services organizations. Provide production support for critical platforms and reporting tools to include work focusing on applications and data warehouses. Engage with Client Service leadership for developing and delivering on the vision and strategic plans for support infrastructure and capacity in areas of resourcing, process optimization and tool development. Lead, participate and deliver ideation and scope definition workshops, value proposition and business cases, as well as functional roadmaps and project plans in close alignment with organizational objectives. Help implement strategy and roadmap for Client Services reporting and application infrastructure, including analysis support. Assist in efforts by the team to streamline and automate the collection, management, and analysis of data for the benefit of the business. Work in cross-functional teams to tackle complex company-wide goals and deliver meaningful results.
The essential requirements of the job include Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience OR Master’s Degree with 3+ years of experience, Experience with project management principles.
- Continuous improvement experience.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, such as Oracle EBS or equivalent (SAP, Sage, etc.) Required experience with relational databases and SQL languages, such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL.
- Experience with ETL tools, such as SQL Integration Services (SSIS) and/or Informatica Cloud.
- Required experience in data visualization tools, such as SQL Reporting Services (SSRS), PowerBI, OBIEE, Spotfire, Tableau or equivalent. Experience automating business process with tools such as MS Power Automate and/or UI Path Studio.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Experience with the following:
- Smartsheet, Access Databases,
- SharePoint,
- VM Server management and basic maintenance.
- Experienced with Python development, Web development experience, such as HTML, PHP, Java or equivalent, Experience with Oracle APEX (Application Express).
- 5-7 year’s experience required.
