What we need...

As a Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting the company's strategic growth objectives through the evaluation, execution, and integration of potential mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic partnerships. • Market Research: Conduct industry and market research to identify trends, competitive dynamics, and potential targets for acquisition or partnership, providing insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Transaction Execution: Assist in the preparation of transaction materials, including presentations, pitch decks, term sheets, and other documentation required for deal execution. Coordinate with external advisors, such as investment bankers, legal counsel, and other consultants, as needed.
  • Integration Support: Support post-merger integration planning and execution efforts, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition and realization of synergies.
  • Communication and Reporting: Prepare and present analysis, findings, and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders, effectively communicating complex financial and strategic concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance analytical capabilities, and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the M&A function.

What you'd need...

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CFA designation beneficial.
  • At least three years of related experience.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling software.
  • Knowledge of M&A principles, deal structures, and transaction processes. Experience operating in a Private Equity backed business preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external advisors.
  • Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
