Account Manager- Sales Rep for IT Staffing

Ultimate Staffing is seeking an experienced Sales Representative for one of our St. Louis, MO clients. The ideal candidate will have direct experience in selling IT Staffing solutions and services, or IT consulting services and solutions. Candidates must reside within the St. Louis, MO area.

Starts off onsite, can move to Hybrid based off performance
The Business Development Manager/Specialist is responsible for driving new business opportunities and expanding the client base for IT staffing and recruiting services. This role involves identifying prospective clients, developing relationships, and closing deals with companies in need of specialized IT talent. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the IT industry, staffing, and recruitment, combined with a passion for building client relationships and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and engage with potential clients in need of IT staffing and recruitment services through various channels such as networking, cold calling, industry events, and online research.
2. Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture strong relationships with decision-makers (C-level executives, hiring managers, etc.) to understand their staffing needs and position the firm as a trusted partner.
3. Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets, including identifying market trends, understanding competition, and leveraging company strengths.
4. Negotiation & Closing: Prepare and deliver effective presentations, proposals, and contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the client and the firm.
5. Collaboration with Recruitment Team: Work closely with the recruiting team to understand available talent, industry trends, and client requirements to provide the best-fit solutions to clients.
6. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor strategies to continuously refine business development efforts.
7. Reporting & Metrics: Track sales activities, client interactions, and performance metrics to report progress, successes, and areas of improvement to senior management.
Qualifications:
1. Experience: 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within IT staffing, recruitment, or consulting services.
2. Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.
3. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and trends, as well as the staffing and recruitment industry.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
5. Sales Acumen: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and business development goals.
6. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify client challenges and present tailored staffing solutions.
7. Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
8. Proactive Attitude: Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
9. Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software, sales automation tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
