jaide is a recently created AI healthtech startup, based in Paris and the San Francisco bay area, redefining patient care with a clinical decision support product. Our mission is to enhance the consultation experience for patients and physicians alike, starting with oncology and later expanding to other chronic diseases like diabetes, kidney failure, and heart failure.

jaide seamlessly integrates into the patient-doctor journey, offering support at every stage: pre-visit to enable patients to self-report their symptoms, during the visit with ambient documenation, to post-visit clinical decision support.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a founding engineer to join the team to productionalize and scale up our product, you will work directly with the co-founders (CEO and physicians). You will be fully responsible for the continued development of the product, guided by the founding team’s focus on patient care. You will do this while ensuring the strength and scalability of our code base

The current technology is being validated in clinical trials around the world, and needs to be refined into a polished product solution for future physician and patient users, including development of front-end and back-end engineering.

💊 Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy the initial product - managing both front-end and back-end
  • Collaborate with the team to define and implement product features relevant to users
  • Ensure the web application is scalable, secure, and compliant with healthcare industry standards (we’ll guide you through that)
  • Support building and structuring of the tech team and key tech processes



🚑 Requirements

  • You are fully proficient in English (both written and oral)
  • As a full-stack software engineer, you have built and maintained a web product in a fast paced environment, showing excellent problem-solving skills
  • You have faced the challenge of collaborating on a shared code base, and applied software craftsmanship techniques (TDD, clean code) to increase both pace and quality
  • You have demonstrated great collaboration skills and pro-activity with non-tech company leaders
  • You are proficient with leading back/DB/front-end web technologies (e.g., Python, Typescript, Postgres, next.JS), have experience in prompt engineering and LLM API calls, and are willing to develop the product code base


Previous experience in healthcare is not a requirement - we’ll be happy to help you quickly improve your understanding of the sector
