Pay Range: $20/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Select and retrieve appropriate medications.
- Verify quantities and prepare labels for bottles.
- Send orders to pharmacy staff for completion and verification of prescription based programs.
- Select appropriate packing materials and prepare packages for shipment.
- Require walking, standing, and repetitive up and down lifting of boxes weighing 35lb and repetitive pulling of prescriptions 95% of the work time.
- Enclose client specified materials to orders.
- Affix shipping labels on packages and sort by carrier.
- Clean equipment and replenish workstation supplies like pill bottles, caps, boxes, and paper.
- Assist pharmacist with deliveries, inventory control, equipment cleaning, and inbound phone calls.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Completed High School (Diploma or GED).
- High School diploma or GED required.
- A valid CA Pharmacy Technician license required.
- Works well in team environment.
- Pulling and packing medication.
- Comes to work as scheduled (8:30am - 5:30pm).
- High School diploma or GED required.
- 0-1 years of experience that is relevant to the role.
- A valid CA Pharmacy Technician license required.
- Basic math skills and general PC knowledge (i.e. Microsoft Office, Internet, and Email).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
- Experience working on your feet in a physical role and ability to lift up to 35 pound packages.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate peak volume times.
- Willingness and ability to learn internal systems/processes as needed.
