Located in Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA, Khaki’s of Carmel is a luxury menswear retail destination carrying a wide variety of curated fabrics from established vendors. Khaki’s of Carmel focuses on delivering the latest, trend-setting fashion, accessories, footwear, and more to its customers, curating a truly global and inspiring assortment at the leading edge of menswear culture.


The ideal Visual Merchandiser is a creative individual who has a passion for presenting the latest fashion trends by crafting eye-catching aesthetics. You will work closely with the owner and team to help drive merchandising excellence and ensure the floor moves in a way that creates clear stories and wearable buying suggestions.


Responsibilities:


  • Build and maintain knowledge of visual merchandising strategies and current trends
  • Partner with management and team members to uphold and maintain all visual standards
  • Create and maintain an environment that inspires customers to explore their style
  • Elevate store visual presentations in all areas of the store
  • Solve merchandising opportunities, shifting gears when necessary


Qualifications:


  • Previous merchandising experience preferred but not necessary
  • Experience in merchandising and styling with a knowledge of current fashion trends and styles
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic construction skills in building and assembly of visual props preferred
  • The ability to work a flexible schedule based on store needs and duties
