Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist
Location: Port Washington, WI.
Salary: $19 - 22/hr.
Requirements: Prior experience (6 months to 1 year) in inventory control or related area; Associate degree in materials planning/supply chain, business, or related area of discipline is preferred.
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team on the 1st shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accurate records, and supporting overall supply chain operations to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for production needs.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
- Utilize ERP and MRP systems to track inventory movements and generate reports.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team to forecast inventory needs and plan materials accordingly.
- Implement best practices for inventory control and recommend improvements to existing processes.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation related to inventory transactions and adjustments.
- Assist in training and mentoring new staff on inventory processes and systems.
- Proven experience in inventory control or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of ERP and MRP systems.
- Familiarity with supply chain management principles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
