What we’re looking for in an Estimator / Project Manager:

  • Knowledgeable: Familiar with PV and battery system installation. Able to complete site layouts with pencil and paper and AutoCAD, or able to communicate requirements to the design team for CAD layout. Familiar with monitoring SolarEdge, Enphase, SMA, CPS and related inverter monitoring platforms highly desirable. Familiar with NEC code requirements for solar and battery storage projects, and with solar installation and construction techniques.
  • Skilled: Excellent organization and communication skills. Strong people and relational skills. Comfortable talking with customers on the phone and in person. Experience using cloud-based software applications required. Able to use Google Sheets to develop accurate cost estimates. Familiarity with and ability to work within ZOHO environment highly desirable.
  • Team Player: Humble. Able to promote healthy and truly functional teamwork and work well with others, both internally and externally.
  • Safety Conscious: Use of all required PPE, including safety harness. Certified in or willing to obtain OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR/AED. Driver’s license with a clean or good driving record.
  • Passionate: Excited about Solar Energy. Desire to continuously learn and build your knowledge and skills, with full company support and both on-the-job and online training.

  • Create estimates for PV solar system repair work when quote request is required.
  • Develop a plan of work for quoted projects that wins customer approval, including the coordination of site visits to capture project details and the coordination with our local branches, to obtain building permits and modify ICA’s.
  • Manage all aspects of the service projects to be performed and work closely with our O&M Manager, Scheduler/Dispatcher and local Branch Managers to schedule the service work to be performed by our Service Technicians, companywide.
  • Interact with and communicate all necessary project information with our customers, to help us continue to meet our goal of creating “raving fans” of Paradise Energy Solutions
