Travel Requirement: Maximum 5%


Job Purpose:

Flint Group is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist to ensure continuous compliance for industrial ink and coatings products, supporting commercial teams in North America. Candidates should have a working knowledge of US and Canadian regulations and strong interpersonal communication skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regulatory records and manage/update regulatory system data in various databases.
  • Prepare data and documents to support internal and external customer regulatory needs.
  • Review raw material introductions for compliance against regional and global regulations.
  • Monitor regional regulatory activities to identify upcoming regulatory changes.
  • Address data and systems issues to ensure the compliant movement of goods.
  • Create reports and regulatory submissions to regional authorities.
  • Align regional projects with global counterparts.
  • Implement regulatory strategies related to regional regulatory changes (e.g., Prop 65, TSCA, DSL, FDA, CMP, etc.).


Requirements:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific field is required (Chemistry preferred, but other disciplines with organic chemistry coursework/experience are acceptable).
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Regulatory Affairs/Product Stewardship role in the chemical industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work as a team member in a timeline-driven environment with limited supervision.
  • Detail-oriented work ethic while handling multiple ongoing projects/tasks.
  • Knowledge and experience with North American regulations (e.g., TSCA, Prop 65, DSL, etc.).
  • Proficiency with Office software systems.
  • Experience working with international teams is an advantage.
  • Experience with SAP and/or Sphera IA systems is an advantage.
