To better serve the global auto industry EV trend in United States, we are now hiring a Senior MEP Engineer, for a new mega-site manufacturing project in Michigan. We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior MEP Engineer to join our team. As a Senior MEP Engineer, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of our projects. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless integration of MEP systems, compliance with industry standards, and successful project delivery. Also, this role will require excellent management skills, ability to work well under pressure, and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Review construction drawings for all buildings and assess the construction organization design, special construction plans, and supplier qualifications.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to develop integrated and sustainable MEP solutions.
- Conduct technical reviews and analysis to ensure designs meet project specifications, codes, and regulations.
- Oversee the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates for MEP systems.
- Coordinate with planning engineers to address technical issues during construction.
- Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of construction quality and materials quality.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure MEP systems are installed and commissioned according to design specifications.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in MEP engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in MEP engineering, with a focus on leading projects.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to MEP systems.
- Excellent project management and leadership skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
