To better serve the global auto industry EV trend in United States, we are now hiring a Senior HVAC Engineer, for a new mega-site manufacturing project in Michigan. We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior HVAC Engineer to join our team. As a Senior HVAC Engineer, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of HVAC systems for a variety of projects. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency, sustainability, and compliance of HVAC solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams and project engineers. Also, this role will require excellent management skills, ability to work well under pressure, and a minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and engineering of HVAC systems, ensuring they meet project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
- Conduct detailed analyses and calculations for load sizing, energy efficiency, and system performance.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineering disciplines to integrate HVAC systems seamlessly into overall project designs.
- Perform site inspections and assessments to identify opportunities for system improvements or modifications.
- Develop and review construction documents, including plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and codes related to HVAC systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of proven experience in HVAC system design and engineering.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of HVAC design principles, codes, and standards.
- Proficiency in HVAC design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
