Logistics & Supply Chain Specialist

To support our continued growth at RCT, we are looking for motivated team members to join our growing Logistics Team. 


RCT Logistics & Supply Chain Specialist will be involved in a wide range of essential functions at RCT:


• Support RCT daily domestic operations:

  • Manage day-to-day operations of RCT domestic carriers (bulk & packaged) and warehouse partners. 
  • Assist RCT domestic packaging operations with various market partners.
  • Support day-to-day activities within the RCT railcar fleet program.  


• Support RCT daily import operations:

  • Manage day-to-day import movements from various regions around the globe to US ports and ultimately to RCT warehouses strategically positioned around the country.
  • Interface with foreign suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, drayage partners & warehouses.
  • Container tracking; Inventory receipts. 


• Support RCT inventory management & demand planning analysis.


• Support RCT Supply Chain Regulatory programs: ACD, C-TPAT, FSMA.


• Daily use of Chempax operating system.


• Basic computer and common software skills with the ability to learn new software are important and fundamental. Expanded IT skills along with social media experience also a plus.

Our product portfolio is a healthy mix of domestic & global production – with our imports spanning the globe from Latin America to Europe to South East Asia.


While our global HQ is in the Chicago suburbs (straight shot on the Metra from Downtown Chicago), our customer base spans all of North America – with inventory positions in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles & New Jersey.
