Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Oversight professional to lead and coordinate firewall upgrade projects within our clients organization. In this role, you will provide strategic direction, oversee project execution, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Your expertise in project management combined with a deep understanding of network security and firewall technologies will be instrumental in driving the success of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Strategy:
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for network security and firewall initiatives.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Create and implement strategies to optimize project efficiency and effectiveness.
  1. Team Leadership and Coordination:
  • Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including network security engineers, firewall administrators, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance and direction to team members, ensuring clear communication of project goals and expectations.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment conducive to high performance and innovation.
  1. Risk Management and Mitigation:
  • Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities associated with network security and firewall projects.
  • Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential challenges.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize impact on project timelines and objectives.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and key deliverables.
