Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate Daily Operations: Manage and oversee daily environmental services activities, including cleaning, waste disposal, and infection control procedures.
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Lead a team of environmental services employees, providing training, support, and guidance to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Audit and Improve Services: Conduct regular audits of work areas to ensure compliance with hospital standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Coordinate staffing levels and schedules to meet the needs of the hospital, ensuring adequate coverage at all times.
  • Inventory Management: Order and manage cleaning supplies, ensuring all necessary materials are available and used appropriately.
  • Hands-On Support: Occasionally work alongside the cleaning crew during peak times or as needed to maintain service levels.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in management or healthcare administration is a plus.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in environmental services, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
  • Strong leadership and team management
