This role involves the development and implementation of mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms, leveraging cutting-edge cross-platform technologies such as React Native and Ionic. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mobile app development, with a strong emphasis on clean code, design patterns, and efficient architecture.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, Ionic, and Cordova.
  • Implement architecture patterns such as MVP, MVC, and MVVM.
  • Collaborate with the team to gather requirements, plan, and execute projects adhering to SAFe Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Create custom components, such as tab bars, map views, image pickers, push notifications, and sign-in/out features, with a focus on clean and maintainable code.
  • Develop new features and optimize existing code for performance and scalability using Redux and RTK Queries for efficient data handling.
  • Work with RESTful APIs and web services to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end services.
  • Debug and optimize multi-threaded applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
  • Use Firebase for push notifications and real-time data synchronization.
  • Collaborate on design and development efforts, participating in code reviews and maintaining coding standards.
  • Support mobile applications post-launch, ensuring performance optimization and rapid issue resolution.


Basic Qualifications

  • 8+ years of overall experience in mobile development, with a strong background in React Native, Ionic, and J2EE/J2SE development using Java.
  • Extensive experience in Android development using Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, Eclipse, Android Studio, and SQL Lite.
  • Proficiency in cross-platform mobile development with React Native and/or Ionic.
  • Strong understanding of Android application architecture, including UI components, multi-threaded applications, and design patterns like MVP, MVC, and MVVM.
  • Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and clean code best practices.
  • Expertise in working with web services, RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
  • Experience with Redux, RTK Queries, and unidirectional data flow for state management.
  • Proficient in Node.js, JavaScript (ES6), and front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like GIT and SVN.
  • Experience in an Agile development environment, following SAFe Agile practices.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in GraphQL services and D3.js for data visualization.
  • Working knowledge of MongoDB, MySQL, and Oracle databases.
  • Experience with Flutter for cross-platform development.
  • Understanding of mobile security best practices, including GCM/Firebase Push Notifications.
