Chief Marketing Officer - West Palm / Boca / Palm Beach


Our law industry client is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to bring prior law firm experience and join their executive leadership team. The right candidate will have prior legal marketing experience, be well-versed in management of in-house and third party lead generation services and must possess a growth mindset. He or she must be a strong collaborator and a strategic thinker. The Chief Marketing Officer will be responsible for utilizing creative strategies that promote brand integrity, manage multiple agency partners and align the brand and all client marketing endeavors with corporate objectives aimed at rapid growth.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Marketing Initiatives / Strategy – create, manage, and drive all initiatives, including the brand, digital marketing, field/event marketing, and communication efforts that lead to new client acquisition.
  • Develop and deploy on and offline marketing initiatives that support multiple locations and regions nationwide
  • Design and implement wide-ranging brand marketing and advertising plans (develop 12-month promotional plans that promote consistent annual growth)
  • Collaboration: implement a collaborative marketing approach to drive the direction of all advertising, promotional programs, partnering with vendors and external agencies to create and deploy strategies to reach various targeted markets and collaborating with internal regional and departmental leaders to deploy cohesive strategies and ensure consistent understanding and integration throughout the organization
  • Budgeting: develop and manage media budgets for all paid media channels: TV, Radio, Print/Direct Mail, PPC/SEM, etc., implementing testing strategies for mass paid media marketing channel to maximize yield within the budget
  • Monitor and understand weekly/monthly sales data to inform marketing/advertising plans and provide recommendations/adjustments to maintain strong sales growth opportunities
  • Website Maintenance – regular maintenance and enhancement
  • Social Media – responsible for defining and executing marketing strategies for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.
  • Maintain SEM and SEO to ensure ongoing optimization to maximize the generating of leads, implementing web efforts and social media campaigns to take advantage of engagement opportunities with prospects
  • Internal Communications – coordinate efforts & inform other departments about current and upcoming Marketing Strategies, including Executive Leadership reports and information – work closely with VP of Sales & Marketing to document marketing efforts successes and failures.​
  • Review and comprehend weekly and monthly sales data and transition digital marketing efforts to maintain consistent sales growth
  • External Communications – manage communications, including, but not limited to blogging, monitoring blog sites and responding appropriately (using organization’s formal response), arranging content for user group meetings and presenting at trade shows, user groups, industry specific events, etc.​
  • Support the development of effective testing and controls measures that will identify the best opportunities for various regions and locations
  • Data Analytics and Reporting: prepare, review and analyze sales forecasts, media budgets and strategic plans
  • Monitor internal and external promotional performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance, developing monthly and quarterly marketing performance reports


REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field
  • 10+ years of professional services marketing – CPA firm, law firm, wealth, financial or similar
  • 3+ years of strategic development experience, leading on and offline marketing plans, initiatives and programs
  • Solid communication skills and the ability to professionally present to senior level managers
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of advanced data analysis tools and software
  • Able to successfully navigate competing priorities against tight deadlines, partnering well cross-functionally
