The CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGER is responsible to manage client relationships and projects. 


Job Type: 28 hrs to 40 hrs  - must be available five days a week

Pay: $22-25/hour based on experience

Location: must be located in greater Grand Rapids, MI. to work in office

RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Relationship Manager:

  • Serve as a liaison between our Scott Allen Creative team and our clients
  • Meet with clients on on a regular basis to access needs 
  • Love attention to detail, enjoy left brain activity
  • Manage client projects -  set up a calendar for each phase of the project to ensure projects are completed on time
  • Meet regularly with clients to ascertain needs and help them achieve their marketing goals
  • Ongoing communication with the client (answer questions, send proofs, resolve issues that arise)
  • Be a good listener
  • Ensure client satisfaction
  • Grow to understand Scott Allen Creative services - marketing strategy, branding, print design, writing, video, website development and social media content
  • Grow to understand the world of nonprofit development and marketing staff
  • Creative writing is a great plus

  • A self motivator 
  • Keeping yourself and your workload organized monthly, weekly, and daily
  • Working with the Scott Allen Creative’s Graphic Designers, Project Managers, and President in a professional manner
  • Willing to step outside of his/her comfort zone when needed or asked
  • Taking initiative to solve problems


REQUIREMENTS

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field: Business, Management, Communications, or Marketing 
  • 5+ years of professional related experience
  • Experience tracking and managing project activities
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Value and invest in meaningful relationships with team members, clients, and vendors
  • Demonstrates initiative, flexibility, and ability to effectively achieve project established goals and objectives
  • Passionate about nonprofit causes


Additional skills that are desired but not required:

Writing 

  • Interview clients to gather stories
  • Write creative copy for websites, appeals, newsletters, and social media 

Social Media Consulting

  • Create social media content plans that help nonprofit clients achieve their marketing objectives - platforms include Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Create and implement paid boosting and advertising campaigns - know how to target specific audiences. Evaluate analytics reporting to measure engagement
