Job Description:



Objectives of this role:


  1. Lead to define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project
  2. Collaborate with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals
  3. Work closely with product managers and business teams to create and maintain product backlog according to business value or ROI
  4. Remain up to date on trends and best practices for agile project management

Responsibilities:


  1. Plan and prioritize product development and product feature backlog
  2. Develop detailed product feature specifications and ensure they’re clearly understood by relevant teams
  3. Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics, and themes to ensure work aligns with product strategy
  4. Mitigate roadblocks to achieving sprint/release goals
  5. Lead the product-release plans and set expectations for delivery of new functionalities
  6. Serve as product ambassador internally and externally, sharing knowledge and answering questions

Required skills and qualifications


  1. Six or more years of experience in product development
  2. In-depth knowledge of agile methodology for project management
  3. Extensive experience in writing Epics /User stories
  4. Responsible for defining stories and prioritizing the team backlog
  5. Partners with Business and Technical teams in defining and management of scope with each release
  6. Hands-on with at least one requirement and release management tools like JIRA, Rally, ADO, etc.
  7. Experience working in onshore-offshore model
  8. Understanding of business value related to features and functions
  9. Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
  10. Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
  11. Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders

Nice to Have


  1. Hands-on experience in handling data products involving analytics/reporting
  2. Insurance Domain Knowledge/Experience
  3. Ability to write simple queries and analyze data
  4. High level understanding of latest technologies e.g., Cloud, NoSQL database, as all Blue[i] product are hosted on AWS
