Solugenix is assisting a client, a financial services company, in their search for a Product Owner – Banking/Data. This is a Long Term Contract opportunity based out of Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid).
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Finance, or a related field; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role with a focus on data analytics and banking.
Strong understanding of banking processes and data management practices.
Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, JIRA).
Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to translate complex data requirements into actionable product features.
Responsibilities:
Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for data-driven banking solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders, including data scientists, analysts, and business units, to gather and prioritize requirements.
Create and manage the product backlog, detailing user stories and acceptance criteria for data-related features.
Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and effective implementation of product features.
Monitor and analyze product performance, leveraging data insights to inform product improvements and strategic decisions.
Ensure data privacy and security standards are integrated into product development processes.
Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $60/hour to $65/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
Solugenix will consider qualified applicants with a criminal history pursuant to the California Fair Chance Act and Ordinance. Applicants do not need to disclose their criminal history or participate in a background check until a conditional job offer is made to you. After making a conditional offer and running a background check, if we are concerned about conviction that is directly related to the job, applicants will be given the chance to explain the circumstances surrounding the conviction, provide mitigating evidence, or challenge the accuracy of the background report.
