Position - Technical Product Owner
Duration - Contract through the end of 2025 + potential to convert
Schedule - Hybrid - onsite 3x a week
Pay Rate - $65/hr-$85/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
The position is responsible for spreading financial data related to new and renewal loan requests, including lines of credit, commercial real estate, working capital, equipment financing, loans for business start-ups, and business acquisitions, which typically would require a government guarantee.
Must Haves:
- 8+ years of experience in product management or product development roles.
- Experience leading large and complex products working with multiple partners.
- In-depth knowledge of Data Governance and Management concepts (API integration, metadata, lineage, data quality, data modeling, database etc.).
- Bachelor’s Degree
Plusses:
- Experience in the banking, financial, or credit card/processing industry preferred
- Technical background knowledge and understanding in Java or Python
Day-to-day:
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Technical Product Owner for our client in the greater Phoenix, AZ metro area. This is a hybrid onsite opportunity 3x a week. The Senior Product Owner will support the Enterprise Data Governance & Management team. The Senior Product Owner will collaborate with cross function teams to define and deliver upon a near and longer-term product roadmap that enables EDG to ensure compliance with data governance policies, to automate Data Governance (DG)/Data Management (DM) routines, and to support managing, effectively organizing and governing the data at scale. We are looking for Strong candidate having Data management background. understanding of data governance areas such as driving implementation of Product User Interface, metadata, data lineage, API Integration, data quality, and controls.
Responsibilities:
- Defining product strategies, automation framework for system integrations and user experience to build unified portal and various other Data Governance/Data Management needs and guide technologies in implementing these strategies and frameworks.
- Extensive experience and partnership with technology and technical background knowledge and understanding (i.e. Data Modeling, metadata, Java, Python)
- Deep understanding of wireframe to build a blueprint of implementation.
- Translating product vision and roadmap into well-defined product requirements/user stories and acceptance test criteria
- Building and managing the Enterprise Data Management, balancing the requirements of various partners, coordinating communications, and facilitating resolution of risks, issues, and changes tied to the Product Backlog.
- Continually improving products post-launch, prioritizing bugs and feature requests based on customer satisfaction.
- Actively participating in all phases of the Agile product delivery process.
- Serving as the primary resource responsible for the ongoing management of technical activities related to data governance implementation at scale.
- Conducting tool evaluations and proof-of-concepts for Enterprise Data Management solutions
- Continually learning and adopting different approaches and new technologies that drive scalability and improve customer experiences, including artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques
- Not just limited to the above functions, the incumbent will lead other pertaining implementation aspects within the evolving landscape of data governance and regulatory environment.
