Our manufacturing client is looking for a Senior Scrum Master to join their team.


Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.


Pay Rate: $65.00 - $75.00/hr on W2


Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.


W2 employees of Eliassen Group who are regularly scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the following benefits: medical (choice of 3 plans), dental, vision, pre-tax accounts, other voluntary benefits including life and disability insurance, 401(k) with match, and sick time if required by law in the worked-in state/locality.


Responsibilities of the Senior Scrum Master:

  • Build high performing teams that utilize inspect and adapt loops to continuously learn and improve
  • Leverage empirical data collection through report development to benefit the team and organization
  • Implement a variety of practices that support agility
  • Participate in pair programming with developers and transfer knowledge when applicable
  • Design, development, documentation, analysis, creation, testing, and modification of existing applications for digital modernization
  • Work with Developers and QAs on their roles & responsibilities in an agile environment
  • Escalate Agile Squad impediments to appropriate organizational entities
  • Facilitate communication, cooperation, and collaboration inside and outside the Agile Squad
  • Work to improve the effectiveness of all roles of the Agile Squad
  • Shield Agile Squad from external requests and interference to ensure the Agile Squad is fully functional and productive
  • Foster self-organization, learning, and growth within the Agile Squad
  • Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear


Requirements of the Senior Scrum Master:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 5 years of full-time business and technical experience
  • At least 3 years of Scrum experience
  • Hands on working experience with Continuous Integration (CI) processes and scripting
  • Experience presenting, teaching, mentoring, and facilitating at multiple levels of the organization
  • Experience communicating and removing impediments outside of team
  • Solid understanding in the leveraging of the Scrum Framework and principles of agility in IT development team environment
  • Ability to apply multiple approaches to the removal of Agile Squad impediments
  • Ability to explain and implement DevOps, Continuous Development, and/or Continuous Deployment
