Operations Maintenance Coordinator

ARM Group is seeking an Operations Maintenance Coordinator for one of its multinational clients in Barnwell , SC
Key Responsibilities
- Ensures natural work team objectives, goals and actions align with senior leadership mission, vision, and objectives.
- Liaison between maintenance and operations + all other site teams
- Coordinates daily work assignments for maintenance and operations (initial and revisions)
- Ensures backlog accuracy and integrity.
- Ensures planning priority.
- Ensures Scheduling priority and coordination.
- Ensures opportunity identification and execution.
- Ensures efficient and effective work performance.
- Identifies training opportunities (natural work team development & individual requirement)
- Ensures natural work team adherence to policy and processes (audits, assessments, interviews, observation, coaching)
- Communicate and coordinate with other shifts and areas (operations and maintenance + other teams)
- Maximize OEE through completion of opportunity work.
- Function as SMEs (CI, RCA, MRO Optimizations)
- Step in escalation process for Emergency Work (when on site)
- Facilitate intermediate RCA tools.
- Facilitate advanced RCA tools (if designated as Reliability A-Team member)
- Monitor metrics and measures.
- Monitor KPIs & KFIs
Professional Experience
- 2+ years’ experience as a Maintenance planner
- 5+ years of Shutdown coordination experience
- Bachelor’s degree in operations, Industrial/Manufacturing/Process engineering, or equivalent experience in related fields
- Operations Management is a plus.
- 5+ years of Experience with Maintenance systems, OEE reporting, RCA and KPI’s
- 5+ years facilitating process-level change management efforts, using process design workshops and other Lean techniques.
- 5+ years of documenting and improving work processes to make workflow more efficient and productive
Education And Specialized Skills Profile
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Computer skills to be able to use programs for work order and parts management.
- Lean, Green Belt certification desired
- Data analysis – collect, organize, and interpret data
- Facilitation skills
- Experience as a Maintenance planner
- Capacity to learn and understand how different variables (internal and external) impact downtime
- Mechanical/electrical aptitude
- Continuous Improvement training and experience
- Excellent communication, and problem-solving skills - the ability to manage competing priorities, set clear expectations, collaborate, identify objectives, develop and deliver feedback in written, oral, and presentation formats for partner teams, and senior executive management.
- Demonstrated project management skills involving multiple Internal partners. High comfort with handling multiple ongoing priorities.
- Ability to deliver and maintain mature processes, procedures, program baselines, training, and improvement plans.
- Experience with RCA and MRO optimization
Mobility And Physical Requirement Profile
- Work location is Barnwell, SC, and operates in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to travel internationally with 2-3 weeks’ notice.
- Travel up to 1 week per year.
- Be expected to stand for a full shift. Employees will be required to perform climbing stairs, walking, squatting, kneeling, or driving lift truck duties at variable frequencies.
- There is occasional lifting that may require handling of components that can weigh up to 50 lbs.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and walk and talk or hear; use hands and fingers, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
- The employee must occasionally climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, ambient air, temperature extremes, combustible dust fumes or airborne particles, traffic, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration.
- The schedule is normally day shift Monday through Friday. Call ins are required, as necessary.
