Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling software solutions, with a particular focus on event management tools. As a Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for generating and nurturing leads, managing key accounts, and closing sales to drive growth for our event management software solutions.

You will work closely with potential clients to understand their needs, demonstrate the value of our software, and guide them through the sales process. Your ability to build long-lasting relationships, deliver customized solutions, and achieve sales targets will be key to your success in this role. We are a trusted Oracle NetSuite partner specializing in developing tailored software solutions for the event industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Development: Identify and engage with new business opportunities within the event management sector. Prospect and qualify leads through various channels, including cold calling, email outreach, networking, trade shows, and referrals.
  • Consultative Selling: Work closely with prospects to understand their event management challenges and requirements. Present tailored solutions that demonstrate how our software can streamline and enhance their event planning processes.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, serving as the primary point of contact throughout the sales cycle and beyond.
  • Sales Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations with prospects, manage contracts, and close deals in a timely manner to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, forecasts, and performance in our CRM system (NetSuite).
  • Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the event management space to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B software sales.
  • Proven Track Record: A strong history of achieving or exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and explain technical solutions to a non-technical audience.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: A solution-oriented mindset with the ability to understand client needs and offer value-driven recommendations.
  • CRM Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software for lead management, pipeline tracking, and reporting.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong ability to manage negotiations and handle objections effectively while maintaining a professional, client-focused approach.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate across departments to ensure client satisfaction and drive overall company success.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in event planning or management and trade shows, with a deep understanding of event workflows and requirements.
  • Knowledge of the event technology landscape and the challenges faced by organizations in managing events.
