Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management

- Represent the company professionally in all interactions.
Field Work Management
- Supervise foremen and field staff, providing daily oversight and support.
- Conduct daily site visits and safety audits.
- Train staff in safety, skills, and efficiency.
- Provide feedback, resolve issues, and manage disciplinary actions.
- Discuss professional development opportunities and conduct performance reviews.
- Recommend raises and promotions.
Production & Quality Control
- Understand contract details for all jobs.
- Track labor hours and production metrics.
- Schedule materials, equipment, and deliveries, focusing on inventory management.
- Monitor material usage, minimize waste, and order supplies as needed.
- Ensure high-quality installations.
Customer Service
- Engage with customers to address questions and concerns.

Safety & Compliance

Supervisory Responsibilities:
Manage multiple crews, including foremen, roofers, and laborers, ensuring safety, quality, productivity, cost efficiency, attendance, and individual development.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Five years of experience in a commercial roofing environment.
- Extensive knowledge of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation methods.
- OSHA 30-Hour Card and familiarity with building codes.
Skills & Abilities
- Expertise in determining roof types, estimating materials, and directing large-scale projects.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and safety documents.
- Proficiency in basic math and measurement conversions.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and moderate noise levels.
- Potentially dangerous materials and situations requiring safety precautions and personal protective equipment.
Health & Safety Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all safety rules and procedures.
- Address unsafe conditions and train associates in safe work practices.
- Investigate and document accidents and hazards.
- Participate in housekeeping and safety programs.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent lifting and carrying of 15 to 50 pounds.
- Occasional twisting, reaching, bending, stooping, and squatting.
- Ability to mount and dismount lifts, trucks, or tractors.
- Ability to push or pull up to 150 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders up to 40 feet and work on scaffolding.
- Manual dexterity for craftsmanship.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions with exposure to heat, cold, fumes, dust, and other environmental factors.
