Position Overview:
As an Ecommerce Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing product listings and ensuring all visual elements across our online stores are optimized to enhance the customer experience and drive conversions. You will collaborate with our marketing and data teams to ensure product assortments, banners, and other merchandising strategies align with our goals. You will also analyze customer data to tailor product recommendations and strategies, ultimately enhancing the shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Listing & Management: Manage product listings across all online stores, including web, mobile app, and Meta stores.
- Visual Asset Updates: Upload, update, and remove product images, videos, banners, and other visual elements as needed.
- Banners & Pop-ups: Create and manage banners, pop-ups, and featured product sections.
- Product Organization: Maintain filter menus, product tags, and collection page assortments for easy navigation and an optimized shopping experience.
- Cross-Selling & Bundling: Develop strategies for product bundling, cross-sells, and upsells to increase average order value.
- Page Layout & Design: Plan the layout of homepage, product category, and landing pages to enhance user experience and drive sales.
- Promotional Strategy: Ensure promotional banners and product placements are in line with key sales objectives and promotional calendars.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on product performance metrics, interpreting data to provide actionable insights for future merchandising strategies.
- Launch Checklist: Manage the ecommerce launch checklist to ensure all assets are in place and functioning as expected for new product launches or campaigns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in ecommerce merchandising or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of ecommerce platforms (Shopify experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in managing visual assets and product information across multiple channels.
- Knowledge of product assortment strategies and sales performance analytics.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Creative mindset with strong copywriting skills and attention to detail.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
