Job Description:

  • Very Good experience in onsite-offshore coordination.
  • Experience in Mechanical design using CREO.
  • Managing large assemblies and system layout using reference geometry.
  • Perform Finite Element Analysis as required (using Ansys/Mechanical).
  • In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes such as machining, welding, sheet metal forming & operations.
  • Assembly and part tolerancing including GD&T.
  • Understand and develop system and subsystem requirement specifications for components used within ultra-high and ultra-clean vacuum environments.
  • Develop conceptual and detailed designs using 3D modeling software packages (ProE/Creo, etc.).
  • Perform thermal and structural analysis using finite element analysis software packages (Ansys).
  • Analytical problem-solving skills in the structural, dynamic, thermal, and fluid domains.
  • Perform feasibility studies and proof of concepts.
  • Develop test plans for prototypes.
  • Assist with prototype testing & assembly.
  • Interact with manufacturing and service teams to support product transition into manufacturing.
  • Understanding of materials and fabrication techniques for vacuum systems.
  • Proficient in 3D solid modeling using CAD, preferably ProE/Creo.
  • Thermal, vibrational, and airflow modeling through finite element methods are desirable.
  • Ability to apply engineering tolerance and develop error budgets for components.
  • Be able to work in a multi-discipline and multi-culture global organization.
  • Be flexible and adaptive to adjust project focus based on priority changes.
  • Excellent writing skills and verbal communication.
  • Good knowledge of statics, mechanics of materials, fluid flow and heat transfer.
  • SEMI (S2, S8) standards/Semiconductor domain experience added advantage.



Qualification: B.E. /B. Tech / M.S in Mechanical Engineering.
