A global manufacturer is seeking to add a Master Data Manager to their growing team of professionals near Columbus, Ohio.

This position leads a team of 4 global master data coordinators to enter accurate master data, review master data for accuracy, and develop a global master data strategy in the ERP relevant to the affiliates. Good quality data helps ensure that products meet or exceed customer expectations. The Master Data Manager must fully understand the requirements of the master data for raw materials and finished products globally, be able to extract the data, and utilize tools to quickly analyze and fix any errors.

Key Duties:

-Lead the day-to-day activities of the Global Master Data Coordinators, deliver performance reviews, and constructive feedback

-Resource plan for acquisitions, ERP implementations, new affiliate launches, integrating data entry from other departments, and other such needs.

-Become the expert in the capabilities of master data in each ERP and advise the business with recommended changes.

-Develop and implement “master data change request” management procedures.

-Perform data extraction, data scrubbing, and data upload on a defined frequency.

-Review testing specification data for all products and raw materials to ensure accuracy.

-Maintain constant communication with the affiliates for guaranteed satisfaction.

-Collaborate with other departments to implement and advise on changes, test new tools and settings, and help to support their efforts.

-Perform root cause analysis on problems and errors that arise and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.

-Submit and present detailed reports to appropriate executives.

-Find opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures.


Qualifications:

-Bachelor of Science in Quality or other related field or equivalent years' experience is required.

-3- 5+ years of experience in Master Data management within a manufacturing environment is required.

-Prior data governance is preferred.

-Familiarity in SAP is required (S4 Hana, Fiori, and we use QM, EWM, MM, SD, PP modules preferred).

-Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications
