Sales Manager (Dietary Supplements)

We are looking for an extremely talented, dynamic, and seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of building sales in the dietary supplement industry. As a key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing customer accounts and driving revenue through the execution of strategic sales plans and promotions.


Core Duties and Responsibilities include:


  • and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
  • new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.
  • sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement
  • knowledgeable about the operations and key personnel of retailers, distributors, and buyers
  • merchandising of the Dragon Herbs’ brand
  • for new product introductions to achieve optimal distribution
  • as liaison between sales and the management team in an effort to communicate market trends, competitive analysis and growth opportunities
  • in all trade shows on behalf of company
  • to create meaningful sales presentations for buyers, brokers and executive management
  • with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with product offerings
  • informed about industry developments, competitors, and market trends
  • (less than 20%) throughout assigned region with the objective of impacting store level sales and increasing shelf space, understanding and reporting back on store level needs, developing positive relationships with buyers and observing and reporting back on competitive activity.


Qualifications for Ideal Candidates:

  • 5-10 years of sales management experience in the dietary supplement world with a proven track record of success required
  • Current relationships with buyers, distributors and brokers in the natural channel
  • Possesses a full understanding of the natural health distribution network and processes including UNFI, KeHE, DPI etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Ability to travel by car throughout Southern California
  • Excellent organization, planning and scheduling skills. Reliable follow up and follow though.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Experience developing and implementing sales strategies and product launches
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
