Employee Benefits Analyst


Job Description:

In this role, you will be responsible for correction of plan level and member enrollment audits/issues to ensure data accuracy in cloud-based benefits administration tools.


Responsibilities:

  • Complete corrections in response to mismatches identified.
  • Research and resolve root cause issues from Fulfillment/Quality Assurance Generalist (Tier 1 Staff).
  • Work with carriers on retroactive, exception, or standard requests related to member-level eligibility.
  • Make corrections into BenAdmin system to ensure that members are reflecting how they are enrolled with the carrier.
  • Maintain documentation per workflows, procedures and protocols.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to business stakeholders based on audit/issue discoveries.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for resolution lifecycle.
  • Ensure the protection and security of a consumer’s personal, confidential and identifiable information in a professional and responsible manner, according to the standards and requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
  • Meet or exceed department goals as defined.
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned.


Education Requirements:

  • Current life and health insurance license is preferred.

  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required.


Qualifications:

  • Experience with D365 (or any CRM).
  • Prior experience in an office environment; must have basic office skills.
  • Working knowledge of employee benefits or carriers is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Ease or Employee Navigator is ideal.


Other Information:

  • Contract to protentional hire.
  • Must be able to type 40 wpm.
  • Remote position.
