Technical Account Manager – Nebraska, Iowa, Minnesota (Remote – Must be in the Minneapolis area) – Multibillion Dollar Distributor.


Irving Knight has partnered with a large multinational with over 2000 employees in over 60 different countries worldwide, generating over $4B in revenue in 2022. The European specialty chemical distributor needs a Technical Sales Representative within the CASE (Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants and Elastomers) business unit. Key Responsibilities Include:


• Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, you would be responsible for driving growth within the business unit.

• Travelling 30% to meet customer in the region.

• Manage, develop, and understand the needs of a growing customer base, making regular visits to these accounts to build, maintain and manage relationships with key contacts at all levels.

• Carry out visits to target customers to promote products and provide feedback to business and suppliers of customer response and activity.


Qualifications:


• 5 years of experience within CASE dealing with specialty chemicals especially polymers, additives, and colourants.

• Regional experience of Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska.

• A bachelor’s degree in chemistry.

• A valid driving license, and evidence of insurability.

• Someone who is aggressive and likes building relationships, with a deep technical understanding. • Excellent communication skills.

• Ability to liaise with people at all levels.
