We are looking for a motivated worker with 2-5 years of experience in a marketing support role to join our growing Marketing team. The position requires a creative mind and a demonstrated ability to organize digital and printed content for distribution through various marketing channels including our websites, global salesforce, internal collaboration portals, and social media. The ideal candidate will be a generalist, covering all marketing support areas, including graphic design and copywriting. They will be comfortable maintaining various marketing campaigns, and have a skillset that enables them to brainstorm new initiatives with their Marketing team members. They will periodically engage with our Inside Sales Team or Global Outside Sales Team. 

 

Responsibilities 

Develop and update digital and printed content(white papers, case studies, brochures), websites, newsletters, emails, and social media campaigns to include a combination of the following skills: copywriting, graphic design, and editing 

Collect and report channel analytics

SEO activities

Contribute to, and meet deadlines for current marketing initiatives 

Creatively brainstorm new ideas with Marketing team members 

Identify and propose ideas and initiatives that will help promote general awareness of the Solberg brand, with the support of the Marketing Team

 

 

Qualifications 

Must live in the Chicagoland area 

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience 

2-5 years experience in marketing/brand management 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Ability to manage multiple priorities 

Working knowledge of social media platforms

 

Understanding of start-to-finish processes in a work setting, such as multimedia design through production; marketing and branding campaigns; manufacturing 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

Experience in an industrial manufacturing or distribution setting 

Project management experience 

Video creation/editing experience
