**Summary**

The Production Quality Specialist is responsible for creating and implementing quality control and inspection processes throughout the manufacturing stages. This self-motivated individual will check the quality of products in all stages of the manufacturing process, finished goods, and packaging. This role involves analyzing and monitoring measurements, colors, and print locations. They will ensure that each step in the manufacturing process meets quality conformance for individual projects.

**_The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, plus occaisional overtime and Saturdays required based on business need. _**

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Review work order, blueprints, and specifications to understand project specifications, design requirements, deadlines, and processing of each project
- Manage document control including initiating and revising quality procedures
- Create quality check process per each project and ensure quality checks are conducted accordingly
- Inspect products during the production process to ensure they meet quality standards of clients
- Measure product dimensions, part dimensions, examine functionality of products
- Inspects and approves/rejects in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, communicating required adjustments to production supervisor
- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizes re-work, and inputs data into quality database
- Monitor production operations to ensure conformance to company specifications
- Provide feedback on the results of inspections to team leaders and management
- Communicate corrective suggestions on non-compliant quality issues
- Perform random quality checks on product

**Education and/or Experience**
- Minimum of 5 years of Quality Control experience in manufacturing environment required
- POP/POS industry experience highly preferred
- Interest in visual retail marketing
- Must be able to read blueprint drawings and use tape measure
- Intermediate level experience with MS Excel required and software ie., JobBOSS a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Work experience with plastics, woods, and printing preferred

- Extremely organized and process-oriented mindset
- Adaptability to work under tight deadlines and fast paced environment
- Experience with measuring devices using tape measure
- Strong math and analytical skills
- Effective communication skills - oral and written.
- Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks/projects.
- Ability to work independently
- Quick decision making capabilities
- Bilingual in Spanish strongly preferred
