Position Overview: 

Image Systems & Business Solutions is looking for a Level I Support Technician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone eager to start or advance their career in IT, with a focus on delivering outstanding support for our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible, reliable, organized, and driven to develop their technical skills and knowledge in a dynamic, client-focused environment. 

 

This role provides hands-on experience with a variety of IT systems and offers growth opportunities in a supportive startup setting. While experience with Autotask and Microsoft Cloud services is a plus, it is not required—we're looking for someone with a desire to learn, grow, and excel as an IT professional. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

Client Support: 

  • Respond to Level I support requests, troubleshoot basic technical issues, and provide initial resolutions. 
  • Deliver remote and onsite support to clients for common IT issues, including desktop, network, and application troubleshooting. 
  • Document issues and resolutions in Autotask (or similar ticketing system) to ensure a complete record of client interactions. 

Technical Troubleshooting: 

  • Diagnose and resolve common technical issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and printing. 
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level technicians, ensuring accurate documentation and timely client communication. 
  • Assist with basic configuration and setup of user devices, such as computers, peripherals, and mobile devices. 

Learning and Development: 

  • Actively work to improve knowledge of IT systems, networking, and cloud technologies. 
  • Take advantage of training and certification opportunities provided by the company to advance technical skills. 
  • Participate in team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions to stay current with best practices and service desk procedures. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

Technical Skills: 

  • Basic understanding of computer systems, networking principles, and IT troubleshooting fundamentals. 
  • Any experience with Microsoft Cloud services (e.g., Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Exchange, Teams) is a bonus but not required. 
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems like Autotask is a plus but not required. 

Certifications: 

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or ITIL Foundation certifications preferred but not mandatory. 
  • Personal Skills: 
  • Strong desire to build a career in IT with a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. 
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize client needs effectively. 
  • Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail. 
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
